Fury of Hades

My main RPG character Hades,a scene from a recent post


"Hades paused as he noticed a dark figure pushing through the crowd. He sent a surge of mental energy into a thought prode,only to return a blank response. His suspicions were confirmed as the figure leapt into the air,a snaking blade extending from his wrist. In a blaze of viridian fury Hades unsleashed his powers, arcing wings of telekinetic rage spreading behind him as Storm Reaver materialised in his hand. A simple step took him past the podium,which was begining to respond to his heightened power levels, as he extended his left arm to point at the incoming foe.

"This 'man' is a false being,a Revyug created to aid in the desecration and destruction of Earth. For him and his kind there lies only Death" Hades bellowed as the assailant closed the final few meters towards the podium. Storm Reaver flashed as the assassin's blade snapped under the parry. Stunned the Revyug fell back before diving into the fray once more,this time engaging its bio-armour. The blast field rippled outwards before crashing against the strength of Hades' will. The Revyug Assassin dropped to the surface, vibro-blades extended from wrists and heels. An arcing hook kick caught Hades' hair as he ducked into a block for the following cross-down slash from the deadly blades. With one end of Storm Reaver caught firmly between the two blades,Hades began to exert his inhuman strength,pushing upwards as his 'wings' swept round. The Revyug howled in pain as the wings struck him,leaving smoking furrows in his bio-flesh. Hades advanced like a great bird of prey,no mercy in his steps as his twin-bladed weapon carved through the air,one blade catching the Revyug inside the thigh,the other end cutting clean through his clavicle. With a step and a turn,Hades moved in a blur of emerald light...and the Revyug's head rolled to the floor,dissolving as it came to a halt."
